As the holidays approach us there is great excitement in the air. More
people are shopping. Friendly faces of people getting ready for family gatherings makes shopping a lot more fun. The smoke
from the fireplace beckons us to stay inside where it is warm and comfort awaits.Families gather to give thanks and celebrate
the birth of Christ. All seems well.
But let us not forget there are those whose hearts ache and whose lives are broken even in the midst of this time
of celebration. For some this will be a time of pain and sad memories. For them it is a drudge of going through the motions
and just wishing it was all over. This year find someone who is hurting and pray for them. Don't tell them how they should
feel just let them know you are thinking about them. Be real, sincere, and honest. Most of all just be there. God bless you
and all of your loved ones.
